One week ago I was talking about how odd a weather event the wildfires in Hawaii were. And during that discussion (fact check me on this) I stated that it would be like having a hurricane strike Idaho (although wildfires in Hawaii are more common than that). This was well before I had ever heard of Hurricane Hilary. Well, like magic, the biggest news story became Hurricane Hilary as she set her eyes on Southern California with a projected pathway that would march her right up to, you guessed it, Idaho. At the time I am writing this the news is reported that what is left of Hilary is 125 miles due west of Elko, Nevada and racing north. Well that happens to be a straight arrow right to my farm!
